Britney Good
Owner | Principal Designer
Britney was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. She moved to Lynchburg in 2009 and graduated from Liberty Christian Academy, where she met her husband, Seth. They now have two beautiful children, Lilyana and Luka and became foster parents in 2019. She attended Liberty University where she received her undergraduate degree in Business Marketing and a minor in Interior Design. Her passion is to help clients create spaces that they adore by ensuring a smooth and FUN process along the way! She encourages clients to explore their creativity and put their own personal touch into each room. She is organized and will keep the project moving in a timely fashion, while staying in budget.
Kathryn Sumpter
Junior Designer
Kathryn, a native of Williamsburg, Virginia, discovered her passion for design at an early age, influenced by her mother, a seasoned architect with 35 years of experience. She graduated summa cum laude from Liberty University, earning a degree in Interior Design with a business minor. In September 2023, Kathryn brought her creativity and attention to detail to Britney Good Interiors, where she specializes in cabinetry design. Kathryn finds inspiration in neutral tones, serene spaces, and a sense of organization. Outside of work, Kathryn is married to her high school sweetheart, Clay, a project manager at Frank Good Builders. Together, they share their lives with their handsome golden retriever, Duke.
MOLLY ABERNATHY
Junior Designer
Molly was born and raised in the mountains of North Carolina and received her degree from UNC Asheville in Psychology and Sociology. With a bit of an unusual road to interior design, she spent almost seven years honing her project management, and client relations skills in the corporate event world before finding her home with design. Molly has several years of interior design experience focusing on both commercial and residential spaces. When she isn't designing dream homes for her clients, you can usually find her buried in a book, or out and about with her husband and rescue pup, Slate.
MERIDETH SHERMAN
Procurement Manager
Merideth, originally from Lancaster, Ohio, grew up with a strong sense of community and service. After graduating from Lancaster High School, she enlisted in the United States Air Force, where she spent four years serving as a Material Manager in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Following the completion of her service, she made her way to Lynchburg, Virginia, where she currently resides. Merideth is married to her husband, Hunter, and together they share their life with their beloved son, Lenny—who just happens to be the cutest Dalmatian around! Merideth joined the team in 2023, bringing with her a passion for organization, numbers, and a keen eye for detail. When it comes to work and design, she thrives on bright colors, fun patterns, and creating a sense of structure and creativity!
ASHLEIGH COX
Office Manager
Ashleigh is a born and raised Virginian; she has four older brothers and is auntie to fifteen energetic nieces and nephews!
During high school Ashleigh began tutoring international children, which evolved into a bustling, in-home childcare and teaching opportunity after graduation. She later spent a few years substitute teaching elementary grades at a local Christian school before transitioning into their pre-kindergarten program full-time.
Ashleigh is passionate about contributing to and supporting the *(BGI/FGB/Paragon) team; she brings several years of accounting experience to her role as office manager, along with strong organizational skills and an enthusiasm for learning.
In her free time, Ashleigh enjoys family outings, kayaking near beautiful VA countryside, collecting antiques, and taking on too many DIY projects.
